Stacked Cube Lamp
The Stacked Cube Lamp was inspired by the modern architecture of New York City. Each cube is made of white clay and finished in a matte white glaze. The cubes are assembled off-center but find balance in their final form. The ceramic cubes are topped with a custom white silk shade. The shade sits on top of the cube, making it look as if it is resting on it. A reflector rests on top of the shade, completing it and giving it the look of a solid cube. The lamp comes with a brown fabric-covered cord with a thumb dimmer switch.
One thing to note is that ceramic is a natural material and each piece reacts differently when fired. When ordering multiple lamps, they may vary slightly as each turns out differently. Small gaps around the edges may appear, but add to the Wabi-Sabi of the piece.
